The efforts started in 2003 when our Executive President Mr. Sunil Rane created an educational brand Atharva Institute of Management Studies. The purpose of the brand was to create, develop and provide business managers to provide solutions to complex business situations. Mr. Sunil Rane has humanized the brand AIMS through his belief in excellence by pursuing his vision “Excellence in Education” by empowering student’s development. AIMS started with merely 25 students in 2003, which is now ranging to a strength of 300 students per year under our two flagship programmes viz. Masters in Management Studies(MMS) and Part-time Programmes in Finance(MFM), Marketing(MMM) & Human Resource Management (MHRDM) which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE. Atharva School of Business (ASB) runs a two year Post Graduate Programme; Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is approved by AICTE and DTE. We are extremely thrilled and pleased to present the International Business Plan Competition (IBPC) under the aegis of CIE (Center for Incubation and Entrepreneurship) & IEIC (Innovation, Entrepreneurship Incubation Center). The idea behind this competition is to provide a platform to young entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas and also to inculcate the passion & spirit among students to pursue entrepreneurship. The objective behind this is to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Institute which makes the students confident to start a new venture with zeal and innovation.
